Part of Tom Cutter’s Instructions to His Men: “We will have something original on this drive. Our artist, Artie Cohn has painted a map all the way to Abilene on the chuck wagon canvas. He’ll be painting our progress each day all the way to our destination that will happen along the way. On the other side of the wagon, he has painted another map for out trip back home. Check with them to know where we are, how far we’ve gone and how far we have to go. The Civil War was over for Tom Cutter. He had to return to his Texas ranch and save it from bankruptcy…if he could. He had obstacles to overcome as soon as he arrived. There were tough decisions to make. He was determined, focused and willing to do anything to keep his ranch and girlfriend. He wondered when it was all said and done, where would he be?
